Our Invitational Swim Meet is the 1st of THREE fundraising events that FRAC conducts each year. All swim families will help out and participate. Our meet is run 100% by volunteers so it is crucial we have enough helping hands. Guidance and training will be provided for all tasks, most of which are really quite simple.
Two very important components of our annual swim meet is the collection of SILENT AUCTION items & obtaining CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS (financial donations) for this event. The 2008 coordinator for this is FRAC President, Theresa Ruiz. Assisting her this year is parent volunteer, Lorie Birch.
Each year the team asks our swim families to provide a silent auction item. You can supply the donation yourself or generate donations from an outside source; family members, friends, businesses, etc. Our swim families have been so generous in years past with their wonderful donations to this event. It’s a very fun part of our swim meet.
Two things that are crucial for any donation that FRAC receives are: Who is the donation from, and what is its value? All donations to Feather River Aquatic Club are 100% tax deductible! We will happily provide our tax I.D. # to any person or business providing the swim club with a donation.
